Cubs have been absolutely terrible on the road in interleague play going 1-11 in their last 12.  Texas on the other hand has enjoyed a great May going 11-1 at home in Arlington in their last 10.  In those games they have hit .330 with 6.6 runs scored per game.  Ted Lilly will go for the Cubs and I’m a bit skeptical about what he may be able to do against a red hot club.  Lilly has never been solid away from Wrigley and he has a 4.73 ERA vs. Texas.  Texas in their last 5 vs. LHP are hitting .340 with 8.49 runs per 9 and carry a bullpen ERA of 2.08 in those games.
 
Texas sends up Colby Lewis who has had a solid season this year.  The Cubs have never faced lewis so I really expect them to struggle through the first few innings.  Texas has been great at home this year overall with a .279 average vs. LHP and 5.71 runs per 9 innings.  Arlington is a hitters friendly park that you truly have to learn to pitch in.  Lilly is a veteran who has pitched here before, but with Texas red hot here I don’t think it stops, not when he is going to have to face an extra batter with the DH in play here.  The Cubs are 17-35 in their last 52 as an under dog, 3-13 in their last 16 inter league and 2-7 in Lilly’s L9 road starts.  Texas on the other hand 32-13 in their last 45 as a home favorite.
