Sure Kendrick has struggled but one thing is for sure is he has pitched well against the Mets. In his start in New York this year he went 6.2 IP giving up 1 ER. The Mets stats indicate that they have hit, but it’s the same old Mets as they scored 18 in one game against the Cubs with the wind blowing out that day has really ruined the averages for the Mets over the last 5 and 10 games. Meanwhile the Phillies have just been hitting probably the best they have all season with a 6.16 runs vs. RHP in their last10 games overall.

They face Pelfrey on Saturday afternoon and Pelf has really struggled giving up 10 ER in his last two starts, the Phillies have hit him hard at times this year and I don’t feel confident he’ll shut down a hot Phillies team that is 13-3 in their last16 games on the road. Kendrick 15-4 when he is on 5 days rest while palfrey is 1¬-7 on 4 days rest.
