Along with the pitching match up I really like how these offenses have struggled for the under to hit. Granted we have just 7 runs to play with but I think it will be enough.

The Padres in their last 5 games are scoring just 2.13 R/9 in their last 5 games with a .208 average while the Marlins are averaging only 2.61 R/9 in their last 5 with a .230 average vs. RHP in their last 5 games. Volstad on a bounceback start here from a poor home start now on the road on the west coast. The last time he had that situation he pitched a complete game shutout against the Giants. The Padres have the worst offense in the league and have never seen Volstad pitch. They are in for a long night as the line has moved off of the Marlins -130 to -107 despite 80% on the Marlins telling me that they expect a solid outing from Gaudin.
