Our POD today is going to be the Phillies as we look to continue this streak.

J.A. Happ will go for the Phillies here and he has not gotten out of the 6th inning in 3GS 1 in each of the last 3 seasons. His last start went 5.1 IP he gave up 6H and 4BB and 4ER. The issue for him has been facing David Wright and Carolos Beltran (both on DL) who are a combined 7-19 with 4HR off Happ. Happ has been solid on the year with a 5-1 record and a 1.77 ERA on the road and I wouldn't be surprised if he shut the Mets down here tonight. This lineup is significantly weaker against LHP without David Wright. The Mets are 3-7 in their last 10 home games vs. a LH starter and Happ is on a good run with a 1.19 ERA in his last three starts and you better believe he knows his history against the Mets. He'll look for the win as he goes up against Tim Redding who has not started since July 2nd. Redding has been pitching in the bullpen so I think you will see him have to make some adjustments early.

Redding has a 1-4 record with a 1.65 WHIP and a 6.53 ERA this year which has been a waste for him. The Phillies are hitting .316 and scoring 6.12 runs per 9 innings in their last 5 games vs. RHP, and Redding has a worse ERA at home with 7.17. The Phillies have won 37 road games this year and 75.6% of those road wins have come by more than 1 run. I look for the same today as we have a pitching mismatch.
