Western Michigan +1.5 5 units; Yes I am going back to this team again as I see so much value and potential in this team. Yes they got throttled by Michigan, but look at the second half and this team can build on that going into Bloomington in a very winnable game. After Hiller started out horrendous going something like 2 for his first 12 passes, he settled in and completed 22 for 38 for the game with 260 yards passing. If he didnt get off to such a rocky start this game would have been closer imo. Their defense played a lot better the second half, but they need to work on their run defense. Indiana on the other side got off the season with a win and new qb Chappell had a good game overall. Second half was a differernt story as Eastern Kentucky had a chance to take the lead twice as they shut out the Hoosiers in the second half. I look at Western Michigan being able to rebound on the run defense as Hoosier's new and improved run game is dismal carrying 31 times for 73 yards. Indiana allowed almost 400 yards to this team, so expect at least 28 points from Western Michigan and 400+ yards from Hiller as he has a field day against this Indiana secondary. Western Michigan as my GOM for September!!
