Yesterday, we suffered two bad beats with the Jays and the Pirates, but that is baseball. I keep telling myself the tough losses will even out, but I question it of late as we have a profit on the season and look to keep it going.

Cubs +107 for 4 units

Cubs have been playing extremely good ball and knocked us off late yesterday against Pitt. Dempster has not been rock solid of late, but his last start he pitched 5 beautiful innings and gave up three on a laser by Berkman. Cubs are winners of 5 straight and have started playing much better and Dempster in his last 10 starts has only allowed more than 3 earned runs once and pitched 6 + innings in 7 of 10 starts. Both these pitchers during the day has ERAs around 5, but I am backing Dempster here to keep the Cubs mojo going.
