Missouri comes off a much closer than expected game against Miami Ohio where Miami Ohio had more first downs than Mizzou. Neither team eclipsed the 300 yard marker in total offense and it looks like replacing Gabbert could be much harder than once thought. Things definitely do not get easier as Mizzou heads west to ASU to see one of the toughest defenses they will see all year. ASU took their cupcake opener just as it was, a cupcake racing out to a 41-0 lead before you saw all the subs come and get some plays. ASU has one of the most talented linebacking cores not just in the league, but in the country. This defense will be a top 15 defense in the country and is not what Mizzouri’s young qb wants to see. ASU calls on Osweiler for the biggest start of his career and this big 6’8’’ qb has all the tools and was impressive in the Opener. ASU and their fast paced offense will make Missouri endure a long night as we watch ASU blow the doors off of Missouri and make a statement on national tv winning this game by double digits.
