This conference is likely on its way out after this year or in the coming years. In the off season they took a major hit losing Hawaii, Fresno State, Nevada, and Boise State and after this year they will be losing L.A. Tech (to Conference USA) and Utah State (to the Mountain West).

Take a look at our breakdown on each team including our top 5 NFL prospects out of the WAC. One day they will have an impact on and we will be there to give you key sports betting advice. Just like we did a year ago on our when we profited over 177 units on a 1-5 units scale!

1. C Tyler Larsen, Jr. Utah State
2. WR Quinton Patton, Sr. Louisiana Tech
3. DT Justin Ellis, Jr. Louisiana Tech
4. CB Nevin Lawson, Jr. Utah State
5. S Xavier Daniels, Jr. Texas State

- They will open up against Texas A&M this year followed by a road game against Houston, their future opponents of Conference USA. They will also have road games against Illinois and Virginia over the first 5 games so it will be no easy schedule for the WAC conference defending champions.

Offense - The rushing attack will be the key in 2012 after one of their leaders in Lennon Creer to graduation they'll get most of their yards from former walk on Hunter Lee who took over late last year and was great. The passing game will be terrific with many weapons led by Quinton Patton and Myles White who are both seniors and experience QB Colby Cameron.

Defense - Last year's defense was a big reason why they won the WAC championship. They were truly a more aggressive team in 2011 than in previous years leading to many plays behind the line of scrimmage. L.A. Tech lost both of their ends who combined for 16 sacks so it will be interesting to see what their replacements do. We may not know what this team is capable until later in the year when they start facing teams from the WAC.

- The Aggies were one of the shocking teams in 2011 nearly upsetting the 2010 national champion Auburn Tigers on the road losing 42-38 in choking fashion. They could have easily started the season 4-0, but choked away 2 other road games including one against BYU. Either way this program is obviously on its way up.

Offense - Led by junior Center Tyler Larsen the offense also gets back sophomore QB Chuckie Keeton and a rushing attack that could be among the best in 2012 after ranking 6th in 2011. Watch out for speedster Kerwynn Williams who can also take it up the middle and should be the star of this offense.
