Sports Betting – Taking A Look at Thursday’s Schedule

Take a break from those you’re using to plan your final trip of the summer and check out these sports betting matchups that are slated to go on Thursday, and the focus will be on the final week of the NFL preseason while baseball comes in as well.

NFL Betting Lines

Lions Bills Odds (6:30 PM ET): The Lions are 1-point favorites according to , but Detroit fans may want their team to throw the game as they went 4-0 in the preseason in 2008….then proceeded to go 0-16.

Colts Bengals Odds (7:00 PM ET): The Bengals are 4-point favorites at home over the Colts, who could give a debut to Kerry Collins, the former retiree picked by Indianapolis to tide them over until Peyton Manning comes back.

Rams Jaguars Odds (7:30 PM ET): The Rams are 3-point underdogs on the road as they are also 3-0, along with Detroit, but real fans know that St. Louis won’t put too much stock in going undefeated in the preseason.

Steelers Panthers Odds (8:00 PM ET): The Panthers are 3-point favorites at home, but the story will be Cam Newton, who will start the final preseason game, which means that he’ll likely be the starter next week when the real action begins.

Broncos Cardinals Odds (10:00 PM ET): The Broncos are 3-point underdogs in the desert, but the focus will be Denver’s backup-quarterback situation as Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow continue to battle it out.

MLB Baseball Betting

Phillies Reds Odds (12:35 PM ET): A pair of 23-year-old youngsters will be on the hill as Philadelphia’s Vince Worley takes on Cincinnati’s Mike Leake in what could be the best pitching matchup of the day.

Cardinals Brewers Odds (4:10 PM ET): St. Louis’ Brandon Dickson will make the first start of his career in Milwaukee, where the Brewers will go with Yovani Gallardo.

Yankees Red Sox Odds (7:10 PM ET): In a game that should overshadow , Boston will go with Jon Lester while the Yankees counter with A.J. Burnett, who given up seven runs or more in three of his last five starts, including nine in his last outing.

Rays Rangers Odds (8:05 PM ET): The Rays give the ball to Jeff Niemann, while the Rangers go with C.J. Wilson as they try and pull away from Los Angeles in the American League West.

Angels Mariners Odds (10:10 PM ET): Meanwhile, the Angels will be in Seattle where they will face Charlie Furbush, while Los Angeles will call on Ervin Santana as they try to catch up to the Rangers in the division race. Look for the Angels to be favored in your .
