Sports Betting – Taking A Look At Saturday’s Slate

Get your early in the morning, because Saturday should keep you busy all day when it comes to sports betting. Baseball and college football fills the afternoon and goes into the evening, while arguably the greatest young talent that the UFC has ever seen will defend his title against a former champion.

MLB Betting

Cubs Cardinals Odds (1:10 PM ET): St. Louis is hot on Atlanta’s heels in the race for the National League wild card, and they’ll give the ball to Kyle Lohse, while Chicago will counter with Rodrigo Lopez.

Red Sox Yankees Odds (4:10 PM ET): Most would tell you that this is the game of the week, and Boston will go with Tim Wakefield, and the Yankees will send out A.J. Burnett in a game that could be a shootout.

Orioles Tigers Odds (7:05 PM ET): Detroit’s Justin Verlander has won 12 starts in a row and will go for his 25th win on Saturday, while Baltimore will get behind Jeremy Guthrie. Look for Verlander on the this weekend.

Blue Jays Rays Odds (7:10 PM ET): Tampa Bay is trying to chase down Boston in the AL wild-card race, and they’ll go with Jeff Niemann while the Blue Jays send out Ricky Romero, who is going for win No.16.

Giants Diamondbacks Odds (8:10 PM ET): Finally, San Francisco is still in the hunt in the National League as they give the ball to Matt Cain, while Arizona will go with the hot Joe Saunders.

NCAA Football Betting

Arkansas Alabama Odds (3:30 PM ET): The No.3 Crimson Tide are 11.5-point favorites against the No. 14 Razorbacks in Tuscaloosa in a big SEC encounter.

Oklahoma State Texas A&M Odds (3:30 PM ET): The No.8 Aggies are favored by 4.5 points at College Station against the No.7 Cowboys, who have one of the best offenses in the nation, but those who will tell you that defense wins games.

Florida State Clemson Odds (3:30 PM ET): The No.11 Seminoles are 2.5-point underdogs on the road against the No.21 Tigers after losing by 10 points at home to top-ranked Oklahoma last week.

LSU West Virginia Odds (8:00 PM ET): The No.2 Tigers are 6-point road favorites against the No.16 Mountaineers, who lost last year in Baton Rouge.

UFC Betting

Jones Jackson Odds (9:00 PM ET): Jon “Bones” Jones has stormed through the 205-pound division, all the way to the top, but at UFC 135 in Denver, he’ll take on Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who is a former light-heavyweight champion and says he is the one to test Jones’ chin. It’s going to be an interesting matchup for those who frequent the .
