fans can get into some preseason action, but there are more pressing issues in the world of sports betting on Saturday as the MLB playoffs are underway, while there are a few solid matchups in college football and the evening ends with a non-PPV UFC event.

MLB Betting

Diamondbacks Brewers Odds (2:07 PM ET): The Diamondbacks open up their NLDS against the Brewers with 21-game winner Ian Kennedy, while Milwaukee counters with Yovani Gallardo. The Brewers are -138 favorites according to odds.

Cardinals Phillies Odds (5:07 PM ET): St. Louis will send out Kyle Lohse to take on Philadelphia’s Roy Halladay as these two National League giants begin their portion of the NLDS.

Rays Rangers Odds (7:07 PM ET): Tampa Bay will go with southpaw ace James Shield on Saturday night, while the Rangers counter with Derek Holland in one of the more intriguing series of the postseason.

Tigers Yankees Odds (8:37 PM ET): After a pair of aces on Friday night, Detroit’s Doug Fister and New York’s Ivan Nova will take to the mound in the second half of the ALCS. Look for the Yankees to be the favorites at home.

NCAA Football Betting

Texas A&M Arkansas Odds (12:00 PM ET): The No.14 Aggies are 2.5-point favorites in Dallas against the No.18 Razorbacks, who have won the last two editions of the “Southwest Classic” since the rivalry was resumed.

Clemson Virginia Tech Odds (6:00 PM ET): The No.11 Hokies are 7-point favorites at home against the No.13 Tigers, who are one of the early surprises of the NCAA football season, even to a .

Alabama Florida Odds (8:00 PM ET): The SEC are known as the dominant conference in the country, and they’ll host a massive matchup in Gainesville as the No.3 Crimson Tide are 3.5-point favorites on the road against the No.12 Gators in what should be a defensive showdown.

Nebraska Wisconsin Odds (8:00 PM ET): Finally, the No.7 Badgers are favored by 9.5 points at home against the No.8 Cornhuskers, who have a tall mountain to climb in their first-ever Big Ten contest.

UFC Betting

Cruz Johnson Odds (7:00 PM ET): Dominick Cruz is a -450 favorite in his title defense of his featherweight belt against Demetrious Johnson, who is a huge +350 underdog in this clash at 135 pounds. Cruz avenged his only loss in his last fight against Urijah Faber and now he can set about clearing out the featherweight division, but Johnson is out to show that he is going to be a force for a long time to come. However, it would be an incredible upset.
