Sports Betting – A Look At Thursday’s Betting Schedule

Postby Freddy Wills » Wed May 16, 2012 5:38 pm

The schedule is light on Thursday, but there are a few other options in your sportsbook that should help you fill the time as the NBA playoffs roll on, and there is a full slate on the baseball diamond and some golf as well

NBA Betting

Heat Pacers Odds (7:00 PM ET): Miami is a slight 1-point favorite on the road in this suddenly tight Eastern series after Indiana stole Game 2, and would show that the Heat miss Chris Bosh more than many thought they would.

Clippers Spurs Odds (9:30 PM ET): San Antonio is a huge 11-point home favorite after dominating the Clippers from start to finish in Game 1, and Los Angees needs a big performance to avoid going home down two games in this West semifinal.

NHL Odds

Coyotes Kings Odds (9:00 PM ET): Los Angeles is favored at -191 and most sharps that use price per head software ( to find out more) would tell you that the Kings have been the most impressive team of the postseason, but Phoenix still has a little fight left in them.

MLB Lines

Reds Mets Odds (1:10 PM ET): Cincinnati’s Mat Latos will square off with New York knuckleballer R.A. Dickey in a matinee National League matchup in the Big Apple.

White Sox Angels Odds (3:35 PM ET): Texas’ C.J. Wilson will go up against Chicago’s Chris Sale in this American League matchup, and Wilson was pounded by his former team in his last outing, so he’ll be eager to get back on the mound.

Yankees Blue Jays Odds (7:07 PM ET): The Yankees, who are always high in your , will send out Phil Hughes, who has been coming around after a slow start, while the Blue Jays counter with rookie Drew Hutchison.

Red Sox Rays Odds (7:10 PM ET): Matt Moore may be on the cusp of being sent to the minors after a poor start, but he’ll be on the hill in Tampa Bay on Thursday against the Red Sox’s Felix Doubront, who was hit in the head prior to his last start.

Phillies Cubs Odds (8:05 PM ET): Finally, Philadelphia ace Roy Halladay gets the call in the Windy City as the Phillies go with Chris Volstad, who is still looking for his first win of the season.

Golf Odds

Byron Nelson Lines (tee times start at 6:00 AM ET): Phil Mickelson is favored at the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Fort Worth, and the 1996 winner will tee it up in a threesome of former champions at this event alongside Adam Scott (2008) and Ernie Els (1995) at 6:30 AM ET. But don’t forget about Matt Kuchar, who won last week’s Players Championship, teeing off with Vijay Singh (who won here in 2003) and Padraig Harrington at 1:30 PM ET; they’re another group to watch if you’re going on Thursday.
