Angels know every game is essential right now chasing the Rangers and they have their horse going today. He supports a nasty daytime ERA of 1.52 boasting a 4-1 record pitching 41 innings allowing only 31 hits and a 8-2 record away from home with an era of 1.99. All his day time starts have been quality starts and I expect him to go 7+ today. He is 1-0 against the Angels already this year allowing 4 hits and only 1 run and 7-1 lifetime while opposing him is super hot Ricky Romero, who has been flat out nasty his last three starts allowing only 9 hits in 24 innings and a sizzling era of 1.11 over those three. If you look further into it, Romero is not a great day time pitcher and is 3-5 this year with era close 4 and has given up 7 homeruns in the day. Romero also in his last three starts faced Baltimore twice and Tampa once and deeper than that he faced NY, Boston, and Philly and gave up 4+ runs in all three of those starts. I believe the over is a nice play and the run line can be looked at too as Weaver and the Angels touch up Romero today.
