I believe Tim Hudson has done enough to prove to me this year that he is back as a the teams ace. He has a 2.89 ERA so far this year with a 1.18 WHIP and continues to pitch well. He'll go up against a struggling Cardinals team that scored a whopping total of 3 runs in their last 3 games combined. Hudson has the talent to keep this team off balance in what I feel will be a low scoring game. The Braves have a solid bullpen with an ERA at 3.34 to back him up.

Kyle Lohse will oppose Hudson and Lohse has a 7.31 ERA this year with a 1.62 WHIP it will be a great opportunity for the Braves to start hitting. Atlanta has a combined 110 AB against Lohse with a .300 average and 4 HR. While STL has a solid BP at 2.80 I believe the Braves will get it done against Lohse. Cardinals are 3-10 in their last 13 as favorites and the line moved from them at -122 at open to now -105 and closely approaching being under dogs.
