Go with the A’s,  I love the pitching match up advantage that they have despite Rich Harden making his return to Oakland where posted an ERA under 3.00 in his career with the A’s.  However, Harden has never been the same since all of his injuries.  He can still strike guys out, but he rarely goes deep into games.  The A’s send Dallas Braden and he was 2-0 against the Rangers @ Texas last year which is a hitters park.  He was impressive going a combined 11 innings pitched giving up just 2ER.
 
Texas has really struggled against LHP particularly on the road where they are 18-45 in their last 63 starts vs. a LH starter.  That’s a win percentage of .285.  Not very good.  They’ll get some help now that Kinsler is back, but on the year they are hitting .168 and scoring 1.72 runs per 9 innings vs. LHP.  They are 3-10 in their last 13 overall vs. LH starter and go up against a young one here tonight.  Braden had a 2.77 ERA in his first starts before giving up 6 ER in 4IP to the Rays.  In respect to Braden he just met the wrong team at the wrong time as the Rays had been super hot swinging the bats.  Sometimes even the best pitchers can’t get by that.
