3.3* Early Bird Special - College Fball 4-2 yesterday - West

There will be two great pass rushers in this game that will play at the next level in Vinny Curry (Marshall) and Bruce Irvin (West Virginia). That's the only reason you need to tune into this match up, but with our NCAAF play for just $10 backed by an in depth analysis you'll have more of a reason to tune in. It's guaranteed or 1 day free.

West Virginia -23.5 (3.3* NCAAF Early bird)
It took OT and a 15 point come back for West Virginia to over come Marshall last year, but they won. Now they will take them seriously and Marshall is starting a true freshmen in Rakeem Cato and the strength of the offensive line will be questionable with 3 new starters. West Virginia did lose 7 starters for the #3 defense a year ago, but they keep Bruce Irvin who had 14 sacks a year ago and he should be there to help force turnovers today. The real reason I'm backing West Virginia is Dana Holgorsen who takes over as head coach. he comes from Texas TEch, Houston and Oklahoma State where he led them to the #3 total offense a year ago. You are going to see a ton of passing this year and a lot of points. Geno Smith has proven he can do that against this team as he was 32-45 for 316 yards a year ago and that was on the road. I expect WV to take better care of the ball than they did a year ago (4 fumbles) in this home game. WV though having a new coach keeps their defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel and I expect them to be the same dominant defense they have been in the past expect Marshall to score no more than 10-14 points here today with a true fresh QB and for them to give the ball back to WVirg offense in great field position. Other players to watch are Vinny Curry DE form Marshall he was one of the more dominant pass rushers last year with 12 sacks and 18 tackles for loss, and Tavon Austin on the Mountaineers side as he can take it the distance on any play either kick returns or as a WR I expect him to have a huge day. Marshall's defense that returns 9 starters should be in for a long day with all the passing it will be interesting to see if they are in shape to play defense. They gave up 45, 44, 41 37, 17, 31 points in road games a year ago and are 16-34-2 ATS in their last 52 road games.
