I like the Eagles in this spot. This is a team that beat New Mexico State twice this year they lost to Murray in OT they beat South Florida and Memphis at home. This group is a gritty group of mostly Junior transfers and they are very tightly knit. I love how they play especially when they are dogs. This year as under dogs they are outscoring opponents by 4.8 points. I see them being in this game all day long especially because Kansas State relies so much on turnovers and Southern Miss is 13th in the country in turning the ball over and over their last 3 games only 5.7/game. Kansas State on the other hand should have issues holding onto the ball as long as they continue to start freshmen PG Angel Rodriguez. I don't think a freshman can lead them very far but we shall see. I like Southern Miss to keep this one close all day.
