These two coaches know each other very well and Louisville’s uptempo and press style will not impact Davidson’s guards.  Overall I think this is a bad match up for Louisville.  Davidson has some length with no starter shorter than 6’3.  All 5 starters are in double figures so they can score from all over.  They are 56th in the country in turnovers a game and that’s where Louisville needs to have success to go on large runs otherwise they usually play in tight games.  Davidson relies on the 3 a lot which could be good in this match up considering Louisville is one of the best in 2 point defense top 10 in the nation.  However, the fact that all of these guys shoot well from Brookes, Cohen, Kuhlman, Cochran and Droney makes them more difficult to defend.  All have height unlike most mid major teams so I see a very close game.  Lousiville is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 as 7-12.5 point favorites.  This Davidson team was in the game at Duke, and vs. Vanderbilt losing by 4 and they went to Kansas and one.  So do not sleep on them.
