Arizona is also 1-7 in their last 8 in Texas, but on paper they have a huge pitching advantage with Brandon McCarthy starting who has been red hot. However, who has McCarthy faced? His last 4 opponents have been against teams ranked 17th, 30th, 29th, and 27th in OPS vs. RHP and now he'll face the Rangers who are 3rd. He has not faced a team this good offensively since the Rockies when he gave up 10 ER in back to back starts over just 12 innings. The Rangers offense is a bit banged up, but Beltre and Moreland lead the efforts ast hey are a combined 19-46 against McCarthy who has a 5.71 ERA over his last 3 starts in Texas.
