More to do with the Nationals road struggled just 18-36 this year and they have never seen Joe Saunders before who I feel will be a great fit for the National League. Arizona in their last 5 vs. LHP have a .357 average and 8.64 runs per 9.  They will face Scott Olsen the lefty who they have had much success against.
 
Olsen in 4 GS vs. Arizona has given up 21 ER in 21.1 IP.  In his three starts @ Arizona it’s been worse as he’s given up 18 ER over just 14.1 IP for an ERA at Chase Field of 11.33.  Dbacks have 69 AB with a  .304 average and a 1.000 OPS.  Adam Laroche is 6-13 with 3 HR off Olsen.  Laroche always a 2nd half streaky hitter is hot right now after 2 HR off the Mets Sunday.  Expect that success to continue as Olsen just 3-8 in his last 11 road starts and the Dbacks are 7-3 in their last 10 as favorites.
 
Saunders as I mentioned makes his first start vs. the Nationals and I think he’s going to really enjoy pitching in the National League.  He’s pitching well right now 14 IP 16 hits and 3 ER in his last 2 starts.  I look for him to have another quality start here today.
