Today we come back strong with the Astros as our POD! I know we aren't getting a lot of value on this, I was looking at several other plays such as the under in Detroit and the under in Seattle. This play is still below my rule of -170 juice.

Pirates send Vazquez to the mound who has been decent in 2 starts going 6 in each and giving up a total of 5ER. However, this will be a bit different as he will make his first road start of the season. The Astros are getting a little boost from Lance Berkman who has struggled all year. He is now 10-22 in his last 7 games so they are hoping this means he has turned the corner.

Mike Hampton will make his first start off the DL and he picked a good spot. He has owned PIT over his career and he has a 0.90ERA in three starts and 20IP this year! Pirates batters have a .108 average against him and the Pirates are batting .239 vs. LHP over their last 10 games. Astros are 9-1 in his last 10 home starts vs. a losing team and they are 28-7 in his last 35 as a favorite. Look for Hampton to throw a solid game behind some offense.
