I'm loving the under here mainly because each team has not faced the opposing pitcher. Along with that the line that opened -146 in favor of the Mets has dropped to -136 despite Johan being on the mound. Vegas is backing off as it sees a solid performance out of Hammel which will be to no surprise to me.

Get it at 7.5 soon and I'd still be comfortable at 7 runs. Hammel has not been the same pitcher at Coors Field but on the road he has a 1.93ERA this year. In his last 3 where he posts the 5.52ERA he had 1 road start at SD where he had a solid performance 5.1 IP 1ER for a 1.73ERA. The Mets who have run into some runs as of late have had success in the past against the pitchers they face. Make no mistake this is still the same team that was getting shut out every other day. The Mets should struggle here tonight against Hammel where in 13 AB from this team against him there have only been 2H.

Santanna will go at home where he posts a 1.86ERA. He'll face Colorado who has never seen him with the exception of Murton and Torealba who are a combined 1-6. The Rockies have a .218avg in their last 5 vs. LHP and .205 on the road this year. This team really struggles against LHP and they lose significant pop against LHP that they carry against RHP.
