Yankees will face the Indians in Cleveland tonight in a matchup between Jaba Chamberlin and Jeremy Sowers.

Sowers had a nice little relieve performance pitching 5 scoreless innings vs. the Rays. However he has been awful as a starter in just 2 starts. He has struggled with control 6BB in 9IP as a starter this year.

The Yankees are very patient at the plate and I think Sowers will struggle here. He has a 6.60 lifetime ERA vs. Yankees and Damon (.556), Jeter (.625), A-Rod (.429), and Teixera (.667) all have solid numbers average wise vs. the LHP.

In fact the Yankees are killing lefties 8.20 runs per 9 innings last 5 games and 6.03 R/9 last 10 with a .321 average.

Back to my theory on run lines... Only 20.6%(6/29) of the Yankees wins have been by just 1 run. Indians have lost 30 games of those 30 games 72.7% of them have come by more than 1 run and it is the reason why we are backing the run line here instead of the ridiculous juice on the money line.
