San Diego has lost their groove and have lost 4 of their last 5 while the Phillies are hot winning 5 games in a row. The Padres are among the leagues worst in scoring runs (28th) with 4.00 per game! Adrian Gonzalez has been amazing and leads the league in HR. In fact he has accounted for 60 of the Padres 208 runs (28.8%) on the season.

Gonzalez however is up for a challenge on Wednesday night facing a lefty in Happ. Gonzalez also has not been as good at night or at home. Vs. LHP he has a .976 OPS with 7 HR, vs. RHP he has a 1.161 OPS with 15HR. At home he has a .926 OPS with 7 HR, but on the road he has 1.223 OPS and 15 HR. Same deal goes for night vs. day. Still impressive number, but Gonzalez is their main source of runs and I'm not confident he'll have a good game tonight.

Phillies are 20-8 their last 28 meetings in San Diego. Happ has pitched well on the road. He has 2 starts on the road 1 vs. Yankees (6IP, 4H, 3ER, 0BB) and 1 vs. Braves (6IP, 3H, 0ER 1BB).

Young will go for the Padres and he has pitched well, but he struggled against the Phillies the last time out going just 3.2IP 9H and 7ER with 2BB.

Take Phillies -103 4U play (1-5U scale)

Phillies have won 30 games this year and only 23% (7/30) of those wins have come by 1 run. Padres have lost 27 games and only 25.9% have come by 1 loss.

1U bonus Take Phillies -1.5 (1U play)
