This will be the third time these two pitchers match up this year. The first two games were in Minnesota where Hernandez opened the duel with 8IP 5H 1ER while Liriano struggled 7IP 4H 4ER. In the 2nd match up both pitchers struggled as the hitters made adjustments and the Twins got the win at home where they are 21-12!

The fact that Hernandez beat the Twins in their own park gives me the confidence to bet on him to make adjustments in his own park! The Twins are 6-16 on the road this year! Felix owns solid numbers against the Twins at home and should be dominant again tonight as he has a 3.10 ERA in his last 3 starts.

Liriano has been awful on the road 7.80 ERA in 6 GS and a 1-4 record. He could not throw a good performance against the Sox at home how is he going to do it on the road? He has a 12.00 ERA last 3 starts and is the main reason why I'm backing the Mariners tonight! Along with the fact that the Twins have yet to prove they can win on the road!
