Sports Betting – A Look At Thursday’s Wagering Slate

The for Week 16 kicks off on Thursday night, while the bowl season continues, college hoops has a full slate and finally, there are a few NHL matchups worth considering.

NFL Betting

Texans Colts Odds (8:20 PM ET): Houston is a 6-point favorite at at Indianapolis, who are coming off their first win of the season, while the Texans are battling for a high seed in the AFC, but they’ve never won in nine trips to Indy.

NCAA Football Betting

Las Vegas Bowl Odds (8:00 PM ET): No.7 Boise State is a 14-point favorite in the Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State, and those that use had the Broncos near the top of the odds list for the BCS title for most of the season, but a one-point loss to TCU ruined any chance they had. They could be looking to take out their frustration on the Sun Devils.

NCAA Basketball Betting

Florida State Florida Odds (7:00 PM ET): The No.11 Gators should be the favorites at home in this hoops meeting with their rivals, the Seminoles, who have bounced back from a three-game losing streak with three straight wins.

Memphis Georgetown Odds (7:00 PM ET): The No.16 Hoyas should be favored at home against the Tigers, who have dropped out of the rankings and are out to avenge a loss to Georgetown in Hawaii last month.

Saint Mary’s Baylor Odds (9:00 PM ET): The No.6 Bears will be favored at home against the Gaels, and Baylor is a team that many clients who use a should have on their radar for the national title.

Illinois Missouri Odds (9:00 PM ET): The No.9 Tigers should be the home favorites against the No.25 Fighting Illini in a rivalry that many overlook, but this should be a feisty and physical game.

NHL Betting

Islanders Rangers Odds (7:00 PM ET): The Rangers should be the home favorites in this battle of the Big Apple and both teams come into this game playing well with two-game winning streaks. The Islanders are mired in the Atlantic Division basement and don’t have much to lose, while the Rangers are hunting down Philadelphia at the other end of the division.

Canadiens Jets Odds (8:30 PM ET): Winnipeg has been one of the biggest surprises in the league so far this season, and they should be the favorites at home against a Montreal team that fired their coach at the beginning of the week and are now battling the media and the public because the Canadiens don’t have a French-speaking coach. These distractions could affect their odds for this game.
