Sports Betting – Take A Look At Thursday’s Wagering Action

is back in business on Thursday as the All-Star break ends, while the third major championship of the golf season will tee off while most North American citizens are sleeping.

MLB Betting

Indians Orioles Odds (7:05 PM ET): Cleveland has been one of the surprises of the MLB season so far, and they kick off the second half in Baltimore with Justin Masterson, while the Orioles counter with Jeremy Guthrie, who lost his final three starts of the first half.

Yankees Blue Jays Odds (7:07 PM ET): The Bronx Bombers head north to Toronto, where the Blue Jays will give the ball to All-Star Ricky Romero, while the Yankees send out Bartolo Colon, who has been a pleasant surprise this year, but he was roughed up in his final start of the first half, so all eyes will be on the 38-year-old that has even players wondering how long he can keep it up.

Marlins Cubs Odds (8:05 PM ET): Florida’s Anibal Sanchez gave up 12 runs in his last two starts of the first half, and on Thursday he’ll lead the Marlins out at Wrigley Field against the Cubs and Matt Garza, who has been all over the place in his first few months after moving from Tampa Bay.

Brewers Rockies Odds (8:40 PM ET): The best pitching matchup of the day could come in Colorado, where the Rockies will send out Ubaldo Jimenez, who is starting to come around after an awful start that may have been caused by injury. The Brewers will go with Yovani Gallardo, who has been inconsistent over the last month.

Giants Padres Odds (10:05 PM ET): In a National League West showdown, the Giants will give the ball to Madison Bumgarner, who gave up five runs against San Diego in his last start, while the Padres call on Aaron Harang, who returned from the disabled list to pitch six no-hit innings against the Dodgers in Los Angeles before the break.

Golf Betting

British Open Odds (1:30 AM ET): odds have U.S. Open winner Rory McIlroy as the sports betting favorite in the 140th edition of the British Open, golf’s oldest major, but the Northern Ireland star may have to fend off the two best players in the world, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, who will be at home in their native country of England. The tournament will be held at Royal St. Georges for the first time since Ben Curtis stunned the golf betting world in 2003 when he was the only player to finish under par. The course is arguably the toughest in the Open Championship rotation, so take that into account before .
