You don’t need to read to show you that Saturday is going to be a busy day in the online wagering community, as your sports betting book will be loaded with options from the baseball diamond, the soccer pitch and the golf course.

MLB Betting

Yankees Blue Jays Odds (1:07 PM ET): A pair of All-Star southpaws will be on the mound in Toronto as C.C. Sabathia will square off with Ricky Romero. This could be the best pitching matchup on today’s schedule.

White Sox Tigers Odds (4:10 PM ET): Another pair of division rivals go at it in Detroit, as the Tigers send out 10-win hurler Max Scherzer to face the White Sox’s Edwin Jackson in a contest featuring two pitchers that have been inconsistent as of late.

Red Sox Rays Odds (4:10 PM ET): The Rays are trying to hang in the American League East, and they’ll give the ball to All-Star James Shields, while the AL-leading Red Sox counter with John Lackey, who has been all over the place in 2011.

Reds Cardinals Odds (7:10 PM ET): There is always the possibility of a fight when these National League Central rivals meet, as the Cardinals call on Chris Carpenter, while the Reds go with Bronson Arroyo.

Rangers Mariners Odds (10:10 PM ET): Finally, in a day filled with division rivalries, these American League West combatants square off in Seattle, where Felix Hernandez goes up against C.J. Wilson, who took the loss for the American League in the All-Star Game.

Soccer Betting

France Sweden Odds (11:30 AM ET): In the third-place game of the women’s World Cup in Germany, France is a +130 favorite over Sweden ahead of Sunday’s massive final between the United States and Japan.

Colombia Peru Odds (3:00 PM ET): Colombia is a -130 favorite to eliminate Peru in the first of two Copa America quarterfinals on Saturday in Argentina.

Argentina Uruguay Odds (6:15 PM ET): The hosts are favored at -160 to go through, but they will have their hands full with the Uruguayans, who finished fourth in the World Cup last summer in South Africa.

Golf Betting

The third round of the British Open should tee off around 4 AM ET, but be sure to confirm the tee times as the second round of golf’s oldest major is still underway at Royal St. Georges in England. With the cut line tentatively set at +4, there are a number of players in danger of missing out on the weekend, including the top two players in the world, England’s Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, while No.3 Martin Kaymer of Germany is hanging around at the top, with former U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover and Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke, who is showing young countryman Rory McIlroy how it’s done. It’s going to be an intriguing weekend in your for golf wagering.
