Sports Betting – A Look At Saturday’s Slate

fans have to wait until Sunday to get their sports betting fix, but there is plenty of variety on Saturday’s schedule to help pass the time, starting with a traditional college football meeting, a few NCAA hoops matchups, a full day in the NHL, along with the UFC and boxing.

NCAA Football Odds

Army Navy Odds (2:30 PM ET): Navy is a 7-point favorite as they go for their 10th straight win over Army (that’s no : TENTH straight win), and most of the games have been blowouts, but this game is still a major tradition in college football and should be watched for the pageantry, if nothing else.

College Basketball Betting

Washington Duke Odds (12:00 PM ET): The No.5 Blue Devils should be the favored team according to companies that help set lines in this neutral-site game in New York City.

Cincinnati Xavier Odds (12:30 PM ET): The No.8 Musketeers should be favored at home against their state rivals from Cincinnati in one of the most underrated rivalries in the country.

Ohio State Kansas Odds (3:15 PM ET): In the day’s big matchup, the No.2 Buckeyes could be favored on the road at No.13 Kansas, who have lost twice against other ranked teams this season.

Michigan State Gonzaga Odds (9:00 PM ET): The No.22 Bulldogs should be home favorites according to those who use , but Michigan State will be a tough test for Gonzaga.

NHL Odds

Jets Red Wings Odds (7:00 PM ET): Detroit should be favored at Joe Louis Arena, but they’re facing a Winnipeg team that has won three in a row.

Oilers Flames Odds (10:00 PM ET): Calgary should be the home favorites in the latest edition of the “Battle of Alberta”, and they’ve won the first two meetings of the season with their young rivals.

Stars Kings Odds (10:30 PM ET): Los Angeles should be the home favorites against Dallas in a clash of struggling Pacific Division teams.

UFC Betting

UFC 140 Odds (Main card starts at 9:00 PM ET): In the UFC’s second trip to Toronto in 2011, light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones is favored to beat his fourth top-10 opponent of the year in former champion Lyoto Machida. In other matches, Frank Mir is favored in his rematch with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, while Tito Ortiz is the underdog against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Boxing Odds

Khan Peterson Odds (10:00 PM ET): Amir Khan is a massive favorite in Washington, D.C. against Lamont Peterson, and Khan looks to defend his WBA Super and IBF light-welterweight titles. Most think it’ll be the final fight for Khan at 140 pounds as he aims to move up for more lucrative fights and the British boxer is out to make a name for himself in the United States. He’ll need a solid performance to impress players on Saturday.
