Saturday’s action at books like features a lot of variety as hoops fans can get serious with college basketball, or it can be a little more lighthearted with the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Contest in the NBA. There is also a full slate of NHL action, while the UFC heads back to Japan for the first time since 2000.

NCAA Basketball Betting

Missouri Kansas Odds (4:00 PM ET): The No.5 Jayhawks should be favored at home against the No.3 Tigers in what could be the final meeting between the “Border War” rivals with Mizzou going to the SEC. The top spot in the Big 12 and a No.1 seed could also be up for grabs in Lawrence.

North Carolina Virginia Odds (4:00 PM ET): still have the No.7 Tar Heels as a favorite for the national title, but they need to avoid an upset against a good Virginia team.

Syracuse UConn Odds (9:00 PM ET): The No.2 Orangemen could be favored on the road against the struggling Huskies, but records go out the window in this rivalry.

NBA Odds

NBA Slam Dunk Odds (8:00 PM ET): Houston’s Chase Budinger is the favorite in this year’s dunk contest, although players that use software may barely recognize the participants on Saturday night.

NBA Three-Point Contest Odds (8:00 PM ET): This will precede the dunk contest, and All-Star Kevin Durant is the favorite here.

NHL Betting

Capitals Maple Leafs Odds (7:00 PM ET): In a meeting of two struggling teams from the East, Toronto could be slight favorites at, especially if Alex Ovchekin is out for Washington.

Bruins Senators Odds (7:00 PM ET): Ottawa may be the hottest team in the league, and they’ll host the defending Stanley Cup champions, who have been off since the All-Star break.

Blackhawks Kings Odds (8:00 PM ET): really kicked off when Los Angeles traded Jack Johnson for Jeff Carter on Thursday, and he could make his debut on Saturday against Chicago, who could be without injured captain Jonathan Toews.

UFC Odds

UFC 144 Odds (PPV starts at 10:00 PM ET): Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will put up his belt against Ben Henderson in the main event of UFC 144 in Saitama, Japan, but the largest cheer of the night (outside of the Japanese fighters on the card) could go to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who squares off with Ryan Bader. Jackson was a star in Pride and is still loved by the fans in Japan, and he pleaded to fight on this card, so he’ll be motivated and it should be no surprise that he is a favorite in your book.
